By creating an account or accessing Professor Scraper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Professor Scraper provides university faculty data to authorized enterprise accounts through a credit-based access model. The Service includes browsing university and professor information, unlocking gated professor details via credits, and downloading data for authorized business use.
The data provided through the Service is gathered from publicly available sources and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. Professor Scraper does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any data provided through the Service. Faculty contact information, titles, department affiliations, and other details may change without notice. You acknowledge and accept that data inaccuracies are to be expected, and you agree to use the data at your own risk.
Access to gated professor data unlocked through the Service is restricted to authorized users within your enterprise account. Sharing any data obtained through the Service with any individual who does not have an active account within your enterprise is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms.
Selling, reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercially redistributing any data obtained through the Service is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms. This includes but is not limited to selling data to third parties, incorporating data into products for sale, or providing data as part of a competing service.
Enterprise accounts are managed by designated administrators. Administrators are responsible for managing team membership and ensuring that all users within their enterprise comply with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
The Service operates on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed when unlocking university professor data. Credit allocations are determined by your subscription tier. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods. All purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to unauthorized data sharing or resale. Upon termination, your right to access the Service and any unlocked data ceases immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Professor Scraper and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
